The firm’s transactional group handles a broad variety of real estate matters.  We work closely and cooperatively with our clients and their real estate brokers, tax advisors, architects and outside consultants to offer comprehensive legal counsel on all types of real estate transactions with a focus on maximizing clients’ return on investment.  We offer advice at all stages of property acquisition and disposition,  creating subdivisions and obtaining administrative approvals,  leasing and management.  Additionally, we counsel  developers, property management companies, homeowner associations and residential and commercial landlords on their legal rights and obligations, as well as best practices for mitigating potential liability. Our attorneys are experienced in subdivision law, involving subdivision development projects such as condominiums and planned developments, administrative approvals, community association creation and operations, condominium conversions, and title issues. We are well versed in all aspects of the landlord-tenant relationship and have extensive experience negotiating and drafting commercial, retail, and office leases.  Additionally, we have a comprehensive knowledge of residential rent controlled jurisdictions and draft rent control compliant leases and tenant buy-out agreements.
