Utrecht & Lenvin, LLP was formed in March 2012 by founding partners Paul F. Utrecht and Nancy C. Lenvin to provide clients with extraordinary legal representation in all real estate related matters.

Utrecht & Lenvin, LLP is a real estate boutique law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to its clients, including real estate investment companies, developers, individual owners, private money lenders, residential and commercial landlords, property managers, trustees and commercial tenants.

Collectively, the partners have more than 80 years of experience representing clients throughout California in virtually all aspects of real estate law, including contract disputes and real property torts, landlord-tenant matters, tenancy in common and homeowners association matters, probate litigation and appellate advocacy.

We represent clients before governmental agencies, administrative tribunals, and all California state courts, including the California Supreme Court, and in federal courts, including the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Utrecht has been practicing in California for more than 30 years and focuses on real estate litigation and appellate practice. Ms. Lenvin has counseled clients in the Bay Area for more than 40 years and concentrates on all phases of real estate transactions, including liability avoidance. Ron Schivo joined the firm shortly after its formation and has tried numerous cases in the Bay Area for more than 20 years.

Patrick J. Connolly joined the firm a year after it was founded as a real estate transactional and litigation attorney. After more than a decade of practice, he was elevated to partner in January 2020.

Jack Wholey joined the firm as “of counsel” in 2014 and brought more than 30 years of experience in subdivision practice including development projects; community association documentation, and administrative approvals. He retired from practice in 2020.
